Khrystal Jones, Executive Director
Khrystal Jones received a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama and a Master’s degree from Shorter University in Organizational Leadership. She was initially exposed to this population of people in 1997. Since that time, she has obtained a great deal of knowledge in the arena of developmental disabilities. Mrs. Jones deems it a great honor to be a servant and provider for individuals with special needs. She brings a heart of gold and caring attitude to each individual and continues to seek more knowledge on how to provide exceptional services for all individuals under Diamonds In The Rough Services.
Sheila Russell, Director
Sheila A. Russell has worked with individuals with special needs for 21 years. She has an Associate Degree in Education, a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership. As the Executive Director of The Diamond Center Adult Day Program, Mrs. Russell’s objective is to provide the best care for all individuals and to inspire them to enhance their capability, accomplish their desired goal despite their disability, and to reach their highest level of independence.
Tiffany Byrd, Program Manager
Tiffany Byrd received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology with a focus in Psychology from the College of New Rochelle in New Rochelle, NY. Ms. Byrd loves working with people and finds joy in seeing each individual exhibit growth. Ms. Byrd has over 13 years of working in social services with a wide range of populations including multi-diagnosed individuals. Through volunteering, Ms. Byrd was exposed to this loving population on a very personal level. The exposure opened her up to a heart for this field. Ms. Byrd brings a great deal of energy and passion to the agency. She enjoys outings and drives each individual to reach goals using their new life skills. Her main focus in the agency is on policy and procedures and its importance to the work being done for the individuals we serve.
Jarvis Jackson, DDP
Jarvis Jackson, Sr. is a Developmental Disability Professional (DDP) for Diamonds in The Rough Services. As a DDP, Jarvis enjoys working with mentally-challenged individuals to assist them in meeting their short- and long-term goals.
Jarvis has more than twenty years of service working with the underserved as well as the youth and adults facing developmental challenges. His background includes a Bachelor degree in Social Work with a minor in Sociology. His greatest joy is working for an organization that is committed to excellence and fosters an environment that focuses on improving the lives of the individuals it serves.
